युनाइटेड क्लबको परिचय

प्राकृतिक छटाले भरिपूर्ण राज्यको महत्वपूर्ण पर्यटकिय शहर पोखरा महानगर पालिका सोही महानगरका एउटा केन्द विन्दु वडा नं १० । यो वडा आर्थिक सामाजिक तथा साँस्कृतिक हिसाबले उत्कृष्ट तथा महत्वपूर्ण वडा पर्ने गर्दछ । यसै वडामा बसोबास गर्ने समाजिक तथा सामाजिक सेवामा समर्पित हुन चाहने जुझारु युवाहरुबाट यहि वडालाई केन्द विन्दु बनाएर मानव समाजमा समर्पित भई कार्यगर्ने क्लबको आवश्यकता महसुस गरि एउटा भेला आयोजना गरियो सोही भेलाको एैतिहासिक निर्णयबाट वि.सं.२०६७ साल बैशाख महिनाको ७ गते विधिवत् रुपमा जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालय कास्कीबाट स्वीकृति प्राप्त गरि विशुद्ध समाजिक कार्य गर्नका लागी स्थापना भयो । यूनाईटेड क्लब पोखरा “युवाको जाँगर राष्ट्र निर्माणको आधार” भन्ने मुल मन्त्रलाई आत्मसात गर्दै एउटा विकाशउन्मुख राष्ट्रमा सामाजिक संस्थाले खेलनु पर्ने भूमिका पहिचान गरि सो कार्य नै आफनो निष्ठा र कर्तब्य ठानेर आपनो कृयाकलाप लाई अगाडी बढाउने संकल्प बन्यो ।
समाजमा आथिक हिसाबले आपनो अध्यापन अगाडी बढाउन असमर्थ भएका गरिब तथा जेहेन्दार बाबु नानीहरुलाई आर्थिक, शैक्षिक समाग्री, पोषाक उपलब्ध गर्दै शिक्षाको पहुँच सबै बालबालिका माझ पु¥याउने कोशिस क्लबले गर्ने , आर्थिक समस्या बाट स्वास्थ्य लाभ गर्न नसकेका गरिब तथा उपचारको पहुँचबाट टाढा रहेका ग्रामिण जन समुदायलाई स्वास्थयमा पहुँच पूयाउन क्लबको अहम भूूमिका रहने सिर्जनशिल तथा उर्जावान युवाहरुलाई खेलकुदको माध्यमबाट आपनो समाज र देशको नाम उच्च स्थानमा पू¥याउन सहयोगीको माध्यम क्लब बन्ने र देशको आर्थिक विकाशका लागी पर्यटन क्षेत्रको विकाश र विस्तार हुनु जरुरी छ पर्यटन क्षेत्रलाई विश्वब्यापीकरणको लागी पोखरा उपत्यका क्षेत्रभित्र मानव निर्मित खुल्ला चिडीयाखाना बनाउने उद्देश्य राख्दै तत्काल आइपर्ने देश तथा समाजको समस्याहरु हल गर्न पुलको माध्यम बन्ने संस्था हुनेछ यूनाईटेड क्लब पोखरा ।

क्लबको उद्देश्यः–
१) शिक्षामा सबै बालबालिकाहरु माझ पहुँच पूयाउने । छात्रवृत्ति, शैक्षिक समाग्री तथा पोशाक प्रदान गर्दै आवास सुविधा सहितको गुणस्तर शिक्षा प्रदान गर्ने ।
२) आर्थिक अभाव तथा ग्रामीण क्षेत्रमा जन समुदायलाई स्वाथ्य लाभ दिने ।
(आर्थिक सहयोग तथा बृहत स्वास्थ्य शिविर आयोजना गर्ने)
३) खेलकुद विकास तथा प्रवर्दनमा टेवा पुरयाउने सिर्जना गर्ने ।
(खेलकुद आयोजना गर्ने, खेलकुद सामग्री तथा पोशाक वितरण गरि प्रवद्र्दनमा टेवा पूयाउने)
४) राष्ट्र विकाशका लागी पर्यटन क्षेत्रको अहम भूमिकाको वारेमा जन चेतना फैलाउँदै पोखरा उपत्यकामा मानव निर्मित खुल्ला चिडीयाखाना निर्माणमा विशेष पहल गर्ने ।
५) पोखराको सेती नदिको संरक्षणमा पहल गर्ने ।
६) वन तथा वन्यजन्तुको संरक्षणमा जोड दिने ।
७) तत्काल आइपर्ने आपतविपद वाट प्रभावित जनसमुदायमा विपद् कोष वाट उचित राहत प्रदान गर्ने ।
८) नेपाली कला र संस्कृतिको संरक्षण तथा जर्गेना गर्ने ।
९) नयाँ नयाँ पर्यटकिय गन्तब्य स्थानको पहिचान गरि यसको प्रवद्र्दनमा पहल गर्ने ।

Introduction of United Club

Pokhara is a mosaic of attractive Himalayas, different lakes, religious pilgrimages, modest weather conditions, and an amalgamation of people from different cultures, ethnicity, and casts; Pokhara Metropolitan City ward number 10 is the center of all. This ward is one of the preeminent wards for social, and cultural phenomena. Those veracious youths who have been residing in the same ward realized the importance of a youth club which, in turn, could be a platform of social development and social welfare and they historically decided to establish a club on 7^th Baisakh, 2067. After that, they have formally registered the club in the District Administration Office with the name, United Club, by having a slogan of “Youth’s labor for the development of the nation”. After that, those youths realized the importance of social service in a nation that is developing, and for that, they dedicatedly and energetically marched forwards social works.

With its establishment, the club has been doing different social welfare-related activities, like, providing scholarship, study materials, school uniforms, and other related things to those students who are academically strong but because of financial constraints they are unable to further their study with the aim of making education available to all, providing help to those people who are from remote villages and are unable to get medical treatment because of poverty, providing different logistic supports to those players who are creative and innovative and want to enhance the name and fame of the nation through sports, and more importantly as Pokhara is a famous city for tourism, and other things; the club has conceptualized the importance of enhancing tourism through the establishment of a zoo. Moreover, the club aims that if a zoo is established in Pokhara, tourism can be enhanced globally and the club has been striving its best to be a bridge between social problems and their solutions.

Aims of the Club

1. Making education available to all. For the club provisions scholarship, educational materials, school uniforms and even managing residence to those students who want to obtain a quality education.
2. Providing medical facilities to those people from remote places who are unable to get medical attention because of poverty. For that, the club provides financial help and organizes mega health camps at different places.
3. Creating an atmosphere for the promotion and development of sports-related activities. For the same, the club organizes different sports events, distributes sports materials and dress.
4. As tourism plays a significant role in the nation’s development, for that the club is making people aware of it and has been trying to establish a manmade open zoo Pokhara.
5. Playing an instrumental role in the preservation of the Seti River.
6. Conserving the wildlife and forests.
7. Providing relief materials for natural calamities from the fund of the club
8. Playing a crucial role in the promotion of Nepalese art and culture
9. Identifying new tourist destinations and promoting them.
